Language arts is critically important to our children’s academic and life success.

Children learn faster when they're having a good time and it's much easier to teach a happy child than a crabby one. ... Short, easy lessons are a lot more fun for children than long,  overly difficult ones.  Learning grammar, vocabulary, spelling, and writing can be fun through the benefit of playtime and games that offer a fun-filled, relaxed environment where they can practice using new words and are free to express themselves.

We encourage children to participate in our recreational activities, because it is an effective way to develop language and communication skills. It also helps a child to be more socially confident and may be a way to forge friendships.

Handwriting helps develop a child's fine motor skills. When a child is taught how to write, the first thing they should learn is how to grip the pencil and proper letter formation.

With practice, preschoolers' tiny hand and finger muscles will become stronger.
